This documentation differs from the official API.
Jadeite adds
extra features to the API including:
variable font sizes,
constructions examples,
placeholders for classes and methods, and auto-generated “See Also” links.
Additionally it
is missing some items found in standard Javadoc documentation, including:
generics type information,
“Deprecated” tags and comments,
“See Also” links,
along with other minor differences.

java.awt.peer
interface LightweightPeer
- All Superinterfaces:
- ComponentPeer
public interface LightweightPeer
extends ComponentPeer
The LightweightPeer interface marks a component as depending upon
a native container so window related events can be routed to the
component. Since this only applies to components and their
extensions, this interface extends ComponentPeer.
The peer interfaces are intended only for use in porting
the AWT. They are not intended for use by application
developers, and developers should not implement peers
nor invoke any of the peer methods directly on the peer
instances.
