MissingFormatArgumentException (Java Platform SE 6)

This documentation differs from the official API. Jadeite adds extra features to the API including: variable font sizes, constructions examples, placeholders for classes and methods, and auto-generated “See Also” links. Additionally it is missing some items found in standard Javadoc documentation, including: generics type information, “Deprecated” tags and comments, “See Also” links, along with other minor differences. extends IllegalFormatException

Unchecked exception thrown when there is a format specifier which does not have a corresponding argument or if an argument index refers to an argument that does not exist.

Unless otherwise specified, passing a null argument to any method or constructor in this class will cause a {@link NullPointerException} to be thrown.

`MissingFormatArgumentException(String s)` Constructs an instance of this class with the unmatched format specifier.
