WildcardType (Java Platform SE 6)

This documentation differs from the official API. Jadeite adds extra features to the API including: variable font sizes, constructions examples, placeholders for classes and methods, and auto-generated “See Also” links. Additionally it is missing some items found in standard Javadoc documentation, including: generics type information, “Deprecated” tags and comments, “See Also” links, along with other minor differences. Represents a wildcard type argument. Examples include:


   ?
   ? extends Number
   ? super T

A wildcard may have its upper bound explicitly set by an {@code extends} clause, its lower bound explicitly set by a {@code super} clause, or neither (but not both).

Method Summary
`TypeMirror`	`getExtendsBound()` Returns the upper bound of this wildcard.
`TypeMirror`	`getSuperBound()` Returns the lower bound of this wildcard.

getExtendsBound

public TypeMirror getExtendsBound()

Returns the upper bound of this wildcard. If no upper bound is explicitly declared, {@code null} is returned.

Returns:: the upper bound of this wildcard

getSuperBound

public TypeMirror getSuperBound()

Returns the lower bound of this wildcard. If no lower bound is explicitly declared, {@code null} is returned.

Returns:: the lower bound of this wildcard
