Renderer (Java Platform SE 6)

This documentation differs from the official API. Jadeite adds extra features to the API including: variable font sizes, constructions examples, placeholders for classes and methods, and auto-generated “See Also” links. Additionally it is missing some items found in standard Javadoc documentation, including: generics type information, “Deprecated” tags and comments, “See Also” links, along with other minor differences. Defines the requirements for an object responsible for "rendering" (displaying) a value.

Method Summary
`Component`	`getComponent()` Returns the component used to render the value.
`void`	`setValue(Object aValue, boolean isSelected)` Specifies the value to display and whether or not the value should be portrayed as "currently selected".

getComponent

public Component getComponent()

Returns the component used to render the value.

Returns:: the Component responsible for displaying the value

setValue

public void setValue(Object aValue,
                     boolean isSelected)

Specifies the value to display and whether or not the value should be portrayed as "currently selected".

Parameters:: aValue - an Object object; isSelected - a boolean
