SortOrder (Java Platform SE 6)

This documentation differs from the official API. Jadeite adds extra features to the API including: variable font sizes, constructions examples, placeholders for classes and methods, and auto-generated “See Also” links. Additionally it is missing some items found in standard Javadoc documentation, including: generics type information, “Deprecated” tags and comments, “See Also” links, along with other minor differences. SortOrder is an enumeration of the possible sort orderings.

Field Detail

ASCENDING

public static final SortOrder ASCENDING

Enumeration value indicating the items are sorted in increasing order. For example, the set 1, 4, 0 sorted in ASCENDING order is 0, 1, 4.

DESCENDING

public static final SortOrder DESCENDING

Enumeration value indicating the items are sorted in decreasing order. For example, the set 1, 4, 0 sorted in DESCENDING order is 4, 1, 0.

UNSORTED

public static final SortOrder UNSORTED

Enumeration value indicating the items are unordered. For example, the set 1, 4, 0 in UNSORTED order is 1, 4, 0.
